The Capstone is an opportunity to reflect and expand upon the work students have developed during their time at Brown and RISD and can focus on the final degree project(s) of their concentration and major, and/or on their overall experience of engaging in the creative and intellectual communities of these two institutions. 

The Capstone process culminates in an event organized by the BRDD Program at which each graduating student delivers their Capstone Presentation to their peers and the public.
