Since graduating from the Brown|RISD Dual Degree Program in 2022 with a BFA in Painting and an AB in Archaeology & the Ancient World, Justin Rui Han has worked full-time as a fine artist in Brooklyn, NY. In 2024 he received the Philip Pearlstein Painter Award - which identifies and awards a residency to an outstanding representational painter - and spent the year in residency at the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program.
